The "package"

When I was 12 years old I ran away from home. I can't remember why exactly - probably just my lame attempt at being cool. I relocated (for just one night) to a friend's place two houses up the street. The absolute best part of the entire experience was the care package my Mom sent. She knew where I was (probably even before I got there) and sent some awesome homemade cookies.

Today's care package was just as special. My best friend of more than 30 years, put together a collection of goodies for us that arrived today! It was quite the adventure picking it up at the post office. Line ups here and there. Security. Identification check points. Then the package! Yipeee!!!!!! Luke and Levi took turns carrying it on the long walk back to the chariot (we had to leave it outside).

Check out all the stamps!!!!!!

Along with some tasty chocolate (that was gone before we got back to the Hilton), some tea I was craving and a vegetable peeler that actually works, she sent along some cool stuff for the boys.

Apparently she was tired of seeing them on "skype" in the same pajamas all the time. So here are the new ones....

Of course, every boy could always use some new hot wheels....

And some yummy treats....

Happy boys.....

Thanks a million to Nancy (and the rest of her family) for being so thoughtful! Miss you guys!
