Visa in passport. Passport in hand. Four hours until take off!
As we prepare for the LONG journey home, the feeling is understandably - bitter sweet. When I left Ethiopia in 2007, I knew I would be back within a few years to get Levi. This time it is different. I really don't know when we will be back - only that I will try hard to make it happen - one day.
Eighteen hours of flying with a five year old and a two year old. Would it be wrong to spike their juice with something containing alcohol? I pray they sleep. Wish me luck folks!

for decades, gripe water had 5% or more of good 'ol ethOH. A little bit of wine from the galley might serve as an acceptable alternative, under the circumstances.
